The Initiavak Society is a non-profit organization that aims to empower victims of gender-based violence and create a safer and more equitable society.
We Initiavak Society offers a variety of services, including providing a safe space for survivors to heal and grow, resources for friends and family members of survivors, outreach and education, legal advocacy and support, and counseling and therapy services.
There are several ways to get involved with the Initiavak Society, including volunteering, donating, attending events, and spreading awareness about the organization’s mission and work.
We take a holistic approach to addressing gender-based violence, recognizing that it is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted response. The organization works to empower survivors, challenge harmful societal norms and beliefs, and advocate for policies and laws that protect and support survivors.
You can donate to the Initiavak Society through our website, via email, or by mail. The organization also accepts in-kind donations and has a wish list of items that are always appreciated.
Yes, the Initiavak Society welcomes volunteers who are passionate about its mission and want to make a positive impact in their community. Volunteer opportunities include helping with events, providing administrative support, and assisting with outreach and education efforts.
